We feel once a piece of wood has been committed to be a guitar it will end up as such. If it gets bumped or dropped or scratched in the process we feel it better to sell it at a discount than to scrap it. The reasoning is this: If we have an accident and decide to scrap the guitar and start over we have lost all of our investment in our time and wood. We would rather try to recoup some of our money back. Another reason is that it allows someone on a conservative budget to own a great guitar as long as they don't mind a scratch or ding. We figure a loss on the wood and try to at least make enough selling the guitar as a "second" to recoup the rest of the investment. So they are sold below cost to move them out. They are great deals.
