So I contacted Hamer to find out more about their guitars. Did you know that the Hamer USA shop only completes 3 guitars per day? Many people have compared Hamer to Gibson guitars and Hamers always come out on top. Now I know why. When only making 3 guitars per day you can spend the time to pay attention to every detal.
Their dovetail neck joint is one of the best. The purposly oversize the necks and sand them down until they can just get it hammered into place. Or shoudl I say Hamered into place~ The end result is one of the tightest neck joints you will ever find on a set neck guitar.
